Water for thought….

Spencer was browsing tonight wondering about what are some good gluten free “snacks” to have throughout the day. One list he stumbled upon said the very first thing you should reach for when you need a snack is: water.

She said a lot of the time we may feel a craving or hunger but really our bodies are just dehydrated. I thought that was the perfect thing to hear especially since our bodies are going through some changes with what we’re consuming or not consuming any longer.

 Anyways, after just reading up on benefits of drinking water I found that…

it gives you energy 
great for your skin 
helps eliminate any toxins in your cells and in your body 
everything functions well in the bathroom because fiber and water go hand in hand in the digestive tract (i’m sorry it keeps coming back to this lol)
increases metabolism 
balances hormones 
regulates body temperature 
a natural remedy for headaches or migraines
relieves fatigue
improves your immune system 
and so many more amazing things!

So how much should you be drinking a day any how?
multiply 0.5 ounces by your body weight.

So for me 0.5×130= 65 ounces of water a day.
Thaaaaaat’s about 4,16 oz. water bottles a day!

I can do that.

Also, I don’t know if any of you know about Alkaline water? I’m sure you have heard of it, but if you haven’t, basically where Alkaline cleanses and exists (which is a base) toxins (or acids) cannot exist. Toxins cause sickness and disease and mutations in the cell, giving things such as cancer a growing place. Alkaline water filters are extremely expensive (one day….one day…) I read the closest thing to it is Spring water, rather than Purified Drinking Water. So, if you are interested in it at all something to think about when you buy water!

 Any who, I love water. It’s always what I hope it to be every time I drink it.
I know it has healing powers and if we drink more than enough of it daily our bodies will be blessed. Just wanted to share that with you guys especially since Nicole mentioned some fatigue and headache and Spencer is experiencing some of that as well. So…
